A modern lead bullet. weight - 29.09g; Length - 24.34mm; Diameter - 14.95mm (0.588 inches). The bullet has 3 circumferential grooves, with rouletting and a hollowed base of depth c.3.9 mm. The diameter suggets this may be for the Martini Henry rifle, which equipped the British Army in the later 19th century, and at all events are for a rifle of military specification.

A slightly bent, copper alloy dress hook, of Read class E, type 5, dating from the early post-medieval period, about AD 1500 - 1650.
The dress hook is cast in one piece with a body made of an openwork, trefoil ropework knot, each end terminating in a small five-petalled rosette. A horizontal bar connecting the tops of the two rosettes serves as the attachment loop. A curved, D section hook extends from the centre of the middle loop of the knot, with a tiny human head forming the collar at the top of the hook. The reverse of the tag is plain and unmarked.
