A Roman lead ingot, or "pig" probably dating to the period c. AD 150-402. The ingot is rectangular in plan and trapezoidal in cross-section with rounded corners and no inscription visible on the top. The top has a raised rim around a recessed rectangular panel. The rim is also trapezoid in shape with bevelled inner and outer faces. The rim varys between 20.4 and 21mm wide on one long side 23.4 and 23.3 on other. The panel is recessed 1.8mm and 2.5mm at the ends deepening to 6.1mm in the centre.
