Complete unifaced lead token of medieval or post-medieval date, c. 1250 - 1600 AD. The token is flat and oblong in shape with a flat bottom, possibly due to a break, and a truncated triangular spur curving out to the side at the top. The back face is plain with slightly bevelled edges. The front face is decorated with linear ridges that extend out to the edges from a central point; the topmost of these appears to fan out into the triangular spur, suggesting that the form may be an intentional feature. A complete lead alloy Token of Post-Medieval date (1550-1850). The object is a circular with a heraldic motif on one side and a geometric motif on the other. The heraldic motif is composed of a squared shied with three pellets within the central field. The geometric motif is a six pointed star.
The metal is a light cream in colour with a slightly pitted patina.
Diameter: 33.60mm, Thickness: 3.77mm, Weight: 21.4g.
