A late Iron Age to Roman copper alloy pin, dating to the period c. 100 BC to 200 AD. The pin comprises a discoidal head with rounded edges, and a central circular recess on the upper surface. The shaft is rectangular in cross section and tapers to a worn point. A green patina is on the surface. Cf. SUSS-F35A94 The pin measures 22.54mm in length, 15.31mm in diameter at the head, and weighs 9.37g.

A copper alloy and iron pin, dating from the Iron Age to early Roman period (c. 400 BC to 100 AD). The pin has a copper alloy globular head with flattened base, which narrows to a neck before expanding to a collar. Decoration on the head comprises a triangle with inward curving sides composed of grooved lines. The shaft is iron, and square in cross section. It is heavily corroded towards the head. The pin measures 25.31mm in length, 12.79mm in diameter at the head and and weighs 7.37g. Cf. SF-A20AE1 on the database

TREASURE CASE : 2018 T353. Description: Silver-gilt figurine in the shape of a bird, an element of a larger composite object, the nature is which is unclear. The bird had a long straight neck and a downward curving beak, circular recessed eyes (originally set with glass or gemstones, now absent), a comma-shaped torso and long straight back that terminates in a truncated tail that appears to have been deliberately cut and filed flat.
