A Medieval to Post-Medieval copper alloy coin weight probably dating to c. AD 1400-1600. The weight is uniface, sub-circular in plan and rectangular in cross-section. The front depicts a ship with single mast flanked by a fleur-de-lis and lion, the reverse is plain. Dimensions: diameter 16.1mm; thickness 4.1mm; weight 6.27g. Withers & Withers (1995: 19) publish a similar example which they suggest was a weight for the gold noble.

A Post-Medieval ceramic rim sherd of a large North Devon gravel-tempered ware vessel, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1850+. A hard fired, oxideised fabric, orange in colour and containing an abundant course, angular quartz temper, c. <4.5mm. The interior surface is coated with a highly glossy brown glaze. A large open mouthed vessel with a flat, flanged, slighly overhanging rim. The sherd weighs in excess of 200g. There is evidence of sooting on the underside of the rim.

A Post-Medieval iron 'key-hole' type horseshoe, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1900. The object is U-shaped in plan and is slighly bevelled in cross section, its arms curve inwards slightly and end in rectangular terminals, with no calkins, creating a key-hole shaped aperture. There are no clear nail holes and the shoe may never have been used. Dimensions: Length 121.3mm; width 125.1mm; thickness 19.9mm; The object weighs in excess of 200g. cf. similar objects on this database, eg. LANCUM-094174, NMS-DD1715.

A Post-Medieval copper alloy composite button, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1800. The button is circular in plan and plano-convex in cross-section, potentially with a separate back plate suggested by a circumferencial seam. The shank is integral to the backplate and is sub-rectangular, with a drilled perforation. Although obscured by corrosion, the front of the button appears to be decorated with an incised motif comprising of a six-petalled compas flower. Dimensions: diameter 25.6mm; thickness 13.6mm; weight 10.2g. cf. Read (2005: 39) nos. 130-131.

An apparently incomplete early post-medieval (c.1500-1600) openwork silver button. It comprises a convex openwork filigree octofoil with a coil of twisted silver wire in each foil, with a circle of twisted wire around a central globular pellet. Within the ends of three of the coils is a tiny silver globular pellet. Running around the inside of this hemi-spherical part is the remains of a sheet-silver backing, the edges jagged where it is damaged and incomplete. A copper-alloy Nuremburg jetton of the Lion of St Mark, anonymous issue minor series, dating to the Post-Medieval period (c. AD 1500-1570). The obverse depicts a small lion without a halo within the inner circle with a crown initial mark and a fictitious legend. The obverse depicts an imperial orb surmounted by a cross patty with crown above. The jetton has a circular perforation through the Book of Gospels on the obverse and the crown initial mark on the reverse. Mitchener 1988, p. 359, no. 1093.

A complete lead alloy Cloth seal of Post-Medieval date (1550-1850). The object is a circular with a central heraldic motif on one side, the other side is blank. The heraldic motif is composed of a laurel wreath within which is a shield. The shield had a band of three five pointed stars with crescent below. The folds in the metal are visible front and back and suggest the object is three piece bag seal. The metal is a light cream in colour with a slightly pitted patina. Diameter: 28.44mm, Thickness: 3.58mm, Weight: 11.3g.

A copper alloy finger ring, probably of Post Medieval date, about AD 1500 - 1800. The hoop is D shaped in cross-section and flares at the shoulders to a flat oval bezel set across the hoop. The surface is corroded, but the bezel is probable also a seal matrix, making the ring a signet ring. The shoulders are decorated with frequent crescent shaped stamp or punch marks. The ring is 24.2mm long, 23.5mm diameter, 14.1mm wide. Internal diameter 18.5mm. 8g. A ring of the same form, but with different decoration on the shoulders is HAMP-88A2E1.

An incomplete copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame dating to the Post-Medieval period (c. AD 1620-1680). The object is one-loop of the buckle that consists of a sub-oval frame with openwork rounded ends and scalloped outer edges. There are ovoid knops on the angles of the frame, with protrusions either end of the strap bar. The strap bar itself is broken and missing a section. The buckle frame measures 33mm in length, 31.5mm in width and is 3mm thick. It weighs 5.52 grams. See Whitehead 1996, p. 85, no. 534 and SWYOR-636DC4 on the PAS database for parallels.
