A fragment of the rim of a cast copper-alloy cooking vessel. The fragment is roughly triangular, 43.5 mm long, 32 mm wide, 2 mm in thickness at the rim and weighs 15.5 g. The fragment is bent in plan, so that the curvature is unknown. The exterior surface is slightly pitted, but almost entirely coated in burnt black organic matter from when the vessel was near the fire. The interior surface has a smooth coating of copper corrosion and patches of black organic material around the transverse groove below the rim, which is 5 mm in depth. The foot of a cast copper-alloy cauldron leg, with a short remnant of the cauldron leg attached, 43.5 mm long, 37 mm wide; the thickness of the leg is 11.5 mm and the maximum thickness of the tapered foot 17.5 mm and its weight is 178.9 gm. Incomplete cast copper alloy double-loop vesica-shaped buckle frame, with strap bar but the pin is missing. The central strap bar is flush with the frame and narrows from 6 mm to 2 mm in the centre where it has been worn thinner by the pin. The loops are slightly asymmetrical and oval in plan. Incomplete cast copper-alloy double-looped plain annular buckle. The frame is circular in plan, 18 mm in diameter, 2 mm thick and 2.5 mm in height, and B-shaped in profile with straight inner edge and bevelled outer edge. The central strap bar is flush with both faces of the frame; it is 0.75 mm wide at the edges but is slightly distorted and narrower at the centre, through wear by the pin, which is missing.
