An incomplete copper-alloy single loop Medieval buckle frame dating to the period c. AD 1250-1400. The buckle frame is D-shaped in plan with a widened outside edge. This outside bar narrows to the pin bar, which is slightly recessed, with a lug protruding at one end. The pin is missing but there is a small slightly worn section where it attached to the centre of the pin bar. The buckle frame measures 16mm in length, 11.5mm in width and is 2mm thick. It weighs 1.2 grams. See Egan and Pritchard 1991, p. 70, fig. 42, no. 274 for a similar example.

An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval seal matrix, dating to AD 1200-1400. It is a pointed-oval plate, which bears on the back the traces of a perforated integral lug for suspension; the matrix itself depicts a central motif reppresentig possibly clasping hands. The legend enclosing the design is not clear. Very worn.

Silver teardrop-shaped brooch complete with pin, of medieval date (c. AD 1200 - 1400). The back of the brooch is flat, while the front surface is highly decorated; a beaded border runs around both the inner and outer edges, and in the centre evenly-spaced circular pellets are arranged around beaded circles. Complete gold stirrup-shaped finger ring with small green gem set at the apex of a triangular bezel. The gem is oval in shape and slightly convex; it measures 1.2mm in length and 0.9mm in width. The hoop of the finger ring is D-shaped in section. The object has been damaged during its time in the ground and the hoop is now bent out of shape. The surface of the object is smooth and shiny but covered in faint scratches. There is a U-shaped notch at the bottom of the hoop, on the outer surface; this is probably where the ends have been joined to form the hoop.

Incomplete cast copper alloy leg and foot from a cauldron. The leg and foot are straight-sided in plan and profile and plano-convex in section with a flat back. A copper-alloy probably Post-Medieval end cap of a knife handle, dating to 1550-1700. It consists of an oval cross-sectioned element with a pronged projection extending from one of the flat face. The opposite face has a longitudinal median slot (2.10 mm wide; 10.27 mm long; 2.68 mm deep) that once housed the blade. The surface is abraded.

Description: Incomplete medieval gold finger ring. The bezel is oval, the upper half forming a collet with concave sides, open at the top to house a missing gem or other setting. The mouth is now damaged and bent out of shape. The lower face is divided from the upper by a circumferential ridge and has tapering sides and a flat bottom. The rim has a flat upper surface with curved edges that taper towards a short section of the thin vessel wall underneath. The fragment measures 52mm in length, 10mm in width and is 10mm high.
