A complete silver openwork mount of Post-Medieval date (AD 1550-1750). The object is diamond shaped with an integral attachment loop on each of the four corners. The outer edge of the mount has repeating outer knops. There is an inner straight cross with a central raised knop, this forms four quadrants to the mount. Each quadrant is decorated with openwork consisting of repeating semi-circular beaded wires with knops at the points where each wire meets and adjoining wire or the central cross. The back of the object is flat and undecorated.
