An incomplete Iron Age to Roman copper alloy strip bow brooch, proabably dating to AD 25-70. The head of the bow is incomplete, and the catchplate missing. The bow is flat in cross section with a central longitudinal rib, this is parallel sided whilst the sides of the bow converge slightly towards a sub-trapezoidal foot.
The brooch is 38.3mm in length, the head survives to a width of 12.2mm, and with a maximum thickness of 1.8mm; it weighs 2.06 grams.

A Roman copper alloy pin head, probably dating to c. AD 44-410. The head consists of a slightly piriform globular terminal surmounting a triple banded collar of reducing diameter, below which the pin is truncated by an old break, although the shaft appears to have had a circular cross section.
The artefact is 16.34 mm in length,is 6.9 mm (maximum) diameter and weighs 3.27 grams.
No exact parallel for this object has been identified, however the patina and quantity of Roman material found in the vicinity would suggest a date in this period.
