A Medieval silver coin: a poorly preserved penny of Edward III (AD 1327 - 1377), pre-treaty Series D onwards (AD 1352 - 1377), minted in London or Durham. It is 17.7mm in diameter and 0.8mm thick. It weighs 1.04gm. The legends are mainly illegible, but there are annulets in the fourth and possibly third quarter of the reverse.

An inomplete complete Medieval silver penny of Edward III (1312-1377), Pre-Treaty Series G of the Fourth Coinage (North 1205), minted in London, 1356-1361. The coin has a slight nick in its edge but is in otherwise in good condition and only fairly worn.
Diameter: 18.8mm; Thickness: 0.6mm; Weight: 0.97g.
