A fragment of a copper alloy annular brooch. The incomplete frame is lozenge-shaped in cross-section and is decorated on the inside edge with a series for incised cross saltires. The outside of the frame is decorated with a double zigzag line that is formed from a series of stamped dots. Remains of the pin constriction are still present at one broken end. The cast copper-alloy pin is still retained complete, and has an open loop for attachment with a transverse moulded bar separating the loop from the main shaft. Filemarks are visible on the pin.

Post-medieval copper alloy button with an integral drilled loop: a biconical, hollow openwork head with a small central nipple, six sub-triangular perforations on the front face, and six perforations on the rear face. Comparable with Baart et al. 1977, 185, no. 235, Margeson 1993, 20-2, fig. 11 no. 102 and Read 2005, 30, no. 93. Diameter 11.3mm. Length 17.2mm. 16th century.

A complete knapped gun-flint from a flintlock musket of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1600 - 1900. The flint is retangular in shape, and trapezoid in cross section, and has been worked around the edges of the flint. The flint is a light brown colour, with white patches. It measures 33.9mm in length, 25.8mm in width, 6.8mm in thickness, and weighs 8.23g. The gunflint is similar to YORYM-5F5645, which explains that 'the flintlock was first used from the mid 16th century and became part of the main regulation firearm for the British army during the reign of William III. Incomplete and slightly bent medieval copper alloy composite strap end with a full width spacer secured with three rivets. The attachment edge and almost all of the strap socket missing. A series of lateral cut-outs and eight three-quarter round drilled holes have produced a large knop comprising two cruciform motifs with expanding arms. Above these there are four drilled holes and further cut-outs. Both faces are decorated with engraved transverse and longitudinal lines, and an oblique line can be seen on one face. Extant length 63mm. Length of spcer 61mm. Width 11.5mm. 14th century.

A fragment of a copper alloy possible post-medieval candle holder consisting of one of three legs. The surviving leg is a narrow stem which bends at 90 degrees near its end. The terminal is pierced with a cylindrical rivet. At the opposite end the leg connects to a the broken edge of a circular socket, which connected the three legs and may have held a candle stick. A copper-alloy fragment of an Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) mount, dating to AD 600-700. It is a crescent flat strip of metal which represents on its front face a bird head. The elements of the bird surviving are the beak and the eye, obtained by engraving. The break is on the back of the bird head, where a fragmentary semicircular perforation is still visible. The front face has traces of silvering. The back face is flat and undecorated. A small, copper alloy seal matrix probably of post-Medieval date, about AD 1500 - 1700. The face of the matrix is in the shape of a rough oval and carries a design consisting of an inverted letter V surmounted by an inverted semi-circle, probably a merchant's mark. There is no legend. Above the base is an integrally cast narrowed neck of rounded rectangular section and a circular suspension loop. The matrix has a dark brown patina. It is 11.1mm long, 9.1mm wide 16.5mm high. It weighs 4.11gm.

A fragment of a wheel made Roman New Forest beaker. The beaker dates to the period AD270-340. The fragment shows three decorative (pastry wheel) lines running around the circumference of the beaker. The beaker is Fulford's Type 27. A straight sided indented vessel. The fragment is 88.60mm high and 75.20mm wide. The fragment shows a greyish/brown glaze over an orange ochre base.
