A fragment of a wheel made Roman New Forest beaker. The beaker dates to the period AD270-340. The fragment shows three decorative (pastry wheel) lines running around the circumference of the beaker.
The beaker is Fulford's Type 27. A straight sided indented vessel. The fragment is 88.60mm high and 75.20mm wide.
The fragment shows a greyish/brown glaze over an orange ochre base.

Fragment of the proximal end of the handle of a Roman copper alloy vessel, probably a patera (shallow pan), decorated with a running scroll pattern on a field of inlaid blue glass. Longitudinal and transverse breaks have removed about half of an openwork aperture. Extant length 36.5mm. Thickness 2.8mm. 2nd century.

Fragment of a Roman copper alloy T-shaped brooch. The brooch has semi-cylindrical wings in section, with the remains of a loop at the top in the middle. A rectangular bow extends below. The bow is plano-convex in section and is only very slightly arched. The front of the bow is decorated with two vertical rows of triangular recessed cells, each containing red enamel. The lower half of the brooch is missing, as is the spring and pin.
