An incomplete and corroded Medieval circular unifaced coin-weight for a ryal (rose noble), c. 1464-c. 1471. Withers and Withers 1995: 36, 68. The weight has a raised border at the front. The front is stamped with a crown at the 12 o'clock position and a rose at the 6 o'clock position. The rear is heavily grooved or filed with a bevelled border. This coin weight has a dark green patina. Diameter: 15.7mm; thickness: 2.7mm. Weight: 2.03g. (31.6 grains). A fragment of a Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy purse bar (c. 1450-c. 1550). Williams 2018 Class A1. This fragment comprises of one incomplete arm only. The arm, circular in cross-section, projects from the jaws of an incomplete zoomorphic moulding. Double-stranded niello-inlaid cross-hatched decoration survives on both sides as well as the top. The narrowed end of the bar with its knop for securing the bar to the frame is missing due to a break. An incomplete and clipped Medieval silver halfpenny of either Henry VI or Edward IV (second reign), mint is most likely London, though the bust look more akin to Henry VI rosette-mascale to pincone-mascale, legends and stops not visible. Possibly minted at London. Obverse: [ ]; Crowned bust facing. Reverse: [ ]; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant. Length: 11.9mm; width: 11.1mm. Weight: 0.33g.

A complete but bent and broken Medieval silver short cross penny of Henry II (1154-1189) minted by Gocelm at Winchester. Class 1c, 1185-1189 (North 1994: 220, ref: 964). Obverse: hENRICVS REX; Crowned bust facing with sceptre. Reverse: + (cross pattée) GOCELM·ON·WINC; Voided short cross with a quatrefoil in each quadrant. Diameter: 21.0mm. Weight: 1.35g. DA=12:9. When found, the coin was folded through 180° so that the obverse was not visible. North, J. J. 1994. English Hammered Coinage, Volume I, Early Anglo Saxon to Henry III, c. 600-1272. A complete and worn post-Medieval silver Commonwealth (1649-1660) halfgroat, minted at London (North 1991: 206, ref: 2728). Obverse: Shield of St. George within wreath formed of a palm and laurel branch. Reverse: Conjoined shields of St. George and Ireland with II (mark of value) above. Diameter: 16.9mm. Weight: 0.81g. DA=12:1. The coin has been pierced with a circular hole, 2.0mm in diameter. The hole has been pierced from the reverse through to the obverse. North, J.J. 1991.
