A complete and worn post-Medieval silver Commonwealth (1649-1660) halfgroat, minted at London (North 1991: 206, ref: 2728). Obverse: Shield of St. George within wreath formed of a palm and laurel branch. Reverse: Conjoined shields of St. George and Ireland with II (mark of value) above. Diameter: 16.9mm. Weight: 0.81g. DA=12:1. The coin has been pierced with a circular hole, 2.0mm in diameter. The hole has been pierced from the reverse through to the obverse. North, J.J. 1991. An incomplete and clipped Medieval silver halfpenny of either Henry VI or Edward IV (second reign), mint is most likely London, though the bust look more akin to Henry VI rosette-mascale to pincone-mascale, legends and stops not visible. Possibly minted at London. Obverse: [ ]; Crowned bust facing. Reverse: [ ]; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant. Length: 11.9mm; width: 11.1mm. Weight: 0.33g.

A complete but bent and broken Medieval silver short cross penny of Henry II (1154-1189) minted by Gocelm at Winchester. Class 1c, 1185-1189 (North 1994: 220, ref: 964). Obverse: hENRICVS REX; Crowned bust facing with sceptre. Reverse: + (cross pattée) GOCELM·ON·WINC; Voided short cross with a quatrefoil in each quadrant. Diameter: 21.0mm. Weight: 1.35g. DA=12:9. When found, the coin was folded through 180° so that the obverse was not visible. North, J. J. 1994. English Hammered Coinage, Volume I, Early Anglo Saxon to Henry III, c. 600-1272.
