A long, rectangular strip of sheet gold with one terminal having rounded corners and the other terminal has angular corners. The sheet is coiled forming an irregular tube of three coils. Metal composition: Non-destructive X-ray fluorescence analysis undertaken at the British Museum indicated a surface composition of approximately 90-92% gold, 7-9% silver, the rest being copper (see appended report). Medieval (mid 13th to 14th century) annular brooch: The copper alloy brooch is circular in plan and has six collets. Each collet is conical and set with a white paste (with the exception of one), possibly calcium carbonate, on each terminal. The original settings are missing. Between each collet the frame is moulded with low-relief pellets. Between two collets there is a narrowed, circular section bar for the pin, which has a double-stranded terminal which meet around the bar. The reverse is undecorated. Early Neolithic (c. 4,000 to 2351 BC) microlith knapped from a mottled dark grey flint hich has a waxy texture. The dorsal surface has two vertical scars, and there is a trace of a white patina suggesting the it has been made from an older flake.A lateral edge has retouch along its length which is abrupt and short. The distal end appears to have been purposely truncated. It measures 34.46mm long, 10.67mm wide, 5.98mm thick and weighs 2.58g. This is probably an early Neolithic serrated blade (Butler, 2005;130). Late Bronze Age date (c. 1150-600 BC) pegged spearhead. The copper alloy spearhead is almost complete with the edges of the blade being abraded and the rim of the socket is damaged recently. The blade is a slender leaf-shape and the edges of the blade are slightly bevelled. The midrib tapers towards the tip, which is missing and expands to the socket. A fragment of a silver, post medieval to modern thimble dating c. AD. 1800-1950. The base of the thimble survives and is squashed into a flat sub-rectangular strip. The outer surfaces are decorated with a band of machine made decoration comprising a concave panel/banner flanked by a row of four leaves with zig-zag outlines, internal machined grooves and internal incised grooves represented schematic veins. The banner is possible for an inscription but is plain and empty.

A complete, medieval, silver, annular brooch, AD.1150-1400. The brooch comprises a circular frame that is circular in cross section. An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval book clasp, dating to AD 1350-1450. It is the cast loop of the book fitting, which originally must have been attached to a hinged double-sided plate now missing. An incomplete copper-alloy possibly Post Medieval double looped buckle, dating to AD 1500-1650. It consists of a flattened oval buckle frame, which has bevelled edges and a series of pairs of transversal ribs decorating the outer face. In profile the buckle has a slightly crescent shape.
