An incomplete copper-alloy Rose farthing (Type 1), possibly of Charles I dating to the period AD. 1625-1649. The coin is very worn and has two thin perforations through it. The obverse shows a double arched crown with two sceptres in saltire through it that extend nearly to the edge of the coin. The legend reads [C]A[ROLUS] D G [M]AG BR[I]. The reverse depicts a double rose surmounted by a double arched crown. The legend is illegible. North 1975, p. 140, no. 2290.
