A fragment of floor or roof tile, probably medieval in date AD c. 1350 - 1550. The fabric is a uniform pale orange-pink with many voids and inclusions ranging from <1 mm to 3 mm. There are small rounded white inclusions and larger, angular dark inclusions. One edge appears to be the original edge of the tile. The tile is 18.3 mm thick and appears undecorated and unglazed. The fragment is roughly triangular. Overall length is 82.9 mm, width 38.7 mm. Weight is 45.5 g

A body sherd from a wheel -thrown vessel of probable medieval date, AD c. 1200 - 1400. Smooth, pale buff fabric. The exterior surface has a light yellow-brown glaze, the interior surface has a salmon pink slip. One edge appears to show a break along the neck line of the vessel and there is a stump of what was probably a lug or handle. From a rim chart, the appeture of the neck would appear to have been 6 - 8 cm. The form of the sherd suggests the vessel was a bulb or globe in shape. The sherd id roughly triangular with a length of 48.9 mm, width 40.9, thickness 6 mm. Weight is 22.3 g

A body sherd from a coarse ware pot or bowl of medieval to post medieval date. The outer surface is an unglazed dark grey to black with numerous small sandy inclusion. The inner fabric is a lighter grey and the interior surface has an abraided grey-green glaze. The surface shows fine parallel marks consistent with wheel throwing but the form is uneven with bumps and depressions suggesting hand modification or accidental handling before firing. The matrix exposed at the breaks shows a reduced grey interior. The interor surface has a brown slip coating and splashes of a light brown glaze near the base.
