A complete, worn and folded Medieval silver long cross cut halfpenny of Henry III (1216-1272), minted at London. Class 3a-3b, 1248-1249 (North 1994: 226, refs: 986-987). Obverse: h[ENRICV]S RE[X III]; Crowned bust facing without sceptre. Reverse: [ ]NLV/NDE (ND ligated); Voided long cross with three pellets in each quadrant. Diameter: c. 17.5mm. Weight: 0.59g. DA=12:5-6. The coin was folded through 180° when found so that the obverse was not visible. North, J.J. 1994. English Hammered Coinage, Volume I, Early Anglo Saxon to Henry III, c. 600-1272. Late Iron Age or Roman cast copper alloy sword scabbard strap fastener, comprising a ring with an external median arris and convex inner face. Projecting from the side are two short curved spurs flanking a short concave-sided neck with rounded terminal. An acorn shaped knop or button projects at right angles from the terminal. The knop is decorated with an incised cross, radial line and broad groove at junction neck. There are bordering and transverse lines on the side of the neck. A complete, neolithic, flint, scraper, 4500-2500 BC. The object is triangular in shape with cortex remaining on the dorsal face approx 70% coverage. There are some flake scars on this face from the shaping process. The ventral face is a single large bulb of percussion with a single striking platform. The retouch along the tool edge is short, scaled and abrupt. It is predomnantly on the dorsal face with a few retouch removals on the ventral face.

A Wirral type Roman brooch with surviving enamels of orange and red present in the central of three linear strips along the spine of the shaft. The object is a hinged example. The head is stepped but damaged and the headloop is missing. Below the inlay strips is a raised central knop, made uneven by damage. Below the foot, the brooch curves leftwards slightly, separated off from the rest of the body by two inwardly pointing triangular raised sections.

An incomplete, copper alloy, pin of Early Medieval date c.600-900 AD. Description: The pin has a hemispherical head with a bevelled underside, the shaft of the pin is circular in cross-section. Some incised decoration can be seen on both the head and the body of the pin. The shaft begins to curve before it terminates. The object is black with some green patina, and corrosion visible. Dimensions: Length 48.52mm, diameter (of head) 7.32mm, thickness (of shaft) 2.22mm and weight 2.97g.

Fragment of an Early Medieval copper brazed iron bell. The fragment comprises part of the crown and shoulder of the bell, and also part of the handle. The crown appears to have been oval in plan. An iron shank passes theough the crown near the shoulder and rises above to the break. The shoulder flares outwards. The item is corroded, but a small patch of copper alloy is visible which suggests that this bells was copper brazed. A post-Medieval copper-alloy scale knife stop/end-cap (1500-1600). The end-cap is broadly pentagonal in plan and has two broad flat faces. At the top there are three lobes and on each broad face each lobe has a circular 'blind' hole. On the underside a transverse slot contains the remains of an iron tang.
