A pin of unidentified type, possibly an irish stick-pin, made of copper alloy. The object consists of a possibly zoomorphic head at one end of about 12 mm in length. This head is divided laterally by a groove that deepens towards the tip of the 'snout'. Small incisions run parallel to one another diagonally away from this groove in both directionsfrom the tip to the concave dividing point between head and shaft. The rest of the shaft then curves around in an uneven clockwise fashion. The shaft is roughly circular in cross section.
