A complete Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular unifaced token. The object depicts avian imagery one side and, therefore, falls into Powell Type 18. The token has a stylised raised design of a bird standing standing left with the back of its head designed. The reverse is flat.
Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely, although it is likely that this form is of late Medieval - Post Medieval date, c. 1450-1800.
Diameter: 17.4mm; Thickness: 3.6mm; Weight: 6.37g.

A complete cast copper-alloy thimble dating to the late Medieval or early Post-Medieval period, c. 1450-1550. It demonstrates a circular basal plan, with sloping sides that culminate in a tonsured crown with a small central circular dimple at the very apex of the object. The sides of the thimble demonstrate thirteen courses of somewhat irregular hand-stamped dimples, some of which appear to have broken through the metal itself. Fragment of an Early Medieval copper brazed iron bell. The fragment comprises part of the crown and shoulder. The crown appears to have been a slender sub-rectangle shape. Part of the iron hand is visible above and below the corner of the crown. The shoulder gently flares as it moves down the bell. A triangular fold is visible at the top of the shoulder.
XRF analysis has not been undertaken on this example, the metal detectorist noted that the object gives a strong non-ferrous reading on his metal detector.

Fragment of an Early Medieval copper brazed iron bell. The fragment comprises a small portion of the crown, and part of one shoulder. The crown appears to have been sub-rectangular in section. The shoulder hasd a raised area of corrosion roughly of triangular shape, which might suggest it has a folded tab.
XRF analysis has not been undertaken on this example, the metal detectorist noted that the object gives a strong non-ferrous reading on his metal detector.

Sixteen blue glass beads that are spherical in form with a large off centre hole. Most of the beads are an opaque light blue colour, but three of the examples are semi-translucent dark blue colour.
The average size is Diameter 10mm, height 8mm, weight 0.81g with the largest Diameter 11mm, height 10mm, weight 1.49g and the smallest Diameter 7mm, height 6mm, weight 0.38g

Two cubes of stone which may be pieces of tessera type tile, possibly dating to the Roman period c AD 43-410. Both objects a crudely made cubes of stone. The patina of both is browny/yellowish cream.

Incomplete medieval copper alloy composite tongue-shaped strap end with a full-width spacer. One sheet plate is missing. The surviving one is white-metal coated on its outer face. Rust indicates that the rivet near the straight attachment edge was of iron. The sides taper slightly towards the pointed end or knop. Length of the cast spacer 20.7mm. Length 34.5mm. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman umbonate style disc brooch possibly dating to the first or second century AD.
The centre of the brooch tapers inwards with circular design with lines surrounding the flat tip. Outside of the central area, there are three, equidistant projections of oval shape which still contain traces of enamel and may have possibly house stones. Originally there may have been six projections.
