Incomplete Early Medieval (Carolingian) probable strap-end of Thomas (2004) Class E, no Type. Counter-relief decoration on face comprises a voided concave-sided cross (probably the surviving central example of originally three, conjoined) with each arm ending in a rectangular boss, both surviving linking bosses flanked by outward projecting voided acanthus leaves, all within the remains of a plain rim. Engraved longitudinal median line on reverse. Extant length 43mm. Width 35mm. Thickness 3mm. Weight 21.02g. (c. 850-c. 900).

A dressed stone architectural fragment of probable Post Medieval date, about AD 1500 - 1800. It is probably part of a window surround. It is a roughly rectangular block of stone with bother smaller ends broken. There is an angled groove across one face, varying in depth from 10mm - 16mm, and 7mm wide. This probably housed a pane of glass, held in an iron attachment. There is iron corrosion in the base of the slot. The opposite face has a notch cut into the corner, making the block L shaped. Twelve ceramic beads that are spherical in form, each with a large off-centre hole. Eight of the beads are large (Diameter 15mm, height 13mm, weight 2.46g and four are small Diameter 10mm, height 8mm, weight 0.84g, all are undecorated. Due to a lack of contextual evidence and any diagnostic features it is not possible to date this object any more closely and it could be Roman through to modern in date.

A fragment of a copper-alloy Sterling bust jetton issued under Edward II dating to the period AD 1310 - 1314. Long cross with pellets in angles within border of pellets. Mint of London. Class 11. Similar jettons can be seen in Mitchiner, p.100, no's.118-120. The basic design of the jetton is based on the sterling pennies introduced by Edward I in 1279 though bear decorative borders rather than the legends typically seen on coins of the period.

A fragment of a copper alloy pin or bracelet of probable Roman date. The terminal is an elongated conical shape and is decorated with approx. 12 ribs. Extending from the inner end of this is a section of circular cross-sectioned stem/hoop terminating in an abrupt break. There is a slight longitudinal groove/seam running the full length of one side. The narrow stem suggests that the object may be part of a pin or Roman or possibly early medieval date, although no precise parallels have been found for this function. An incomplete cast lead-alloy pilgrim's ampulla dating to the Medieval period, c. 1350-1530. In plan it originally would have been bag or flask-shaped, with a narrowed neck, side lugs and rounded lower body. As a result of post-depositional damage, only the latter survives intact, heavily distorted and torn by means of an irregular truncation which has totally removed the rest of the object. A cast copper-alloy stud mount dating to the Post-Medieval period. The plate of the stud is quatrefoil in plan and flat in profile, and made up of a circular central section with four equally spaced circumferential lobes. On the reverse of the plate there are two protruding lugs bent inwards with their terminals pointing towards one another that would have attached the stud to a leather belt or strap. The stud measures 13mm in length and width, and is 5mm thick including the lugs. The stud weighs 1.32 grams. Similar quatrefoil stud mounts are recorded by Read (2001, p. 34, fig. 19,…
