An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy spur rowel (c. 1600-c. 1660). This rowel is formed of five equally spaced fleur-de-lis shaped tapering points which are pointed oval in cross-section. One of the points is incomplete. On both faces each point has decorative transverse grooves. The sub-circular hole at the centre has a maximum diameter of 3.6mm. The rowel is drab green with flecks of a dark green patina on both faces. Flecks of gilding can be seen on both faces. Length: 36.4mm; width: 28.3mm; thickness: 3.0mm. Weight: 4.76g.
