A cast copper alloy annular brooch of medieval date range 1250-1400. A circular open frame with a small narrowed section to accomodate the pin. The frame is D-shaped in cross section, flat on the reverse. There are clear file marks on the reverse. The front is decorated with a continuous series of evenly spaced and deeply incised notches in the form of chevrons. The pin is missing. The brooch has an even dark green patina. External diameter - 28.84mm , Internal diameter - 20.53mm, thickness - 1.45mm. Weight - 2.1g
