A late medieval to post medieval copper alloy suspension loop from a purse, dating from about AD 1450 - 1550. It consists of a rectangular suspension loop with a moulded eight faceted globular collar below. The shank or interal rivet, which would have originally passed through the purse bar, extends below. The purse loop is 32.4mm long, 20.5mm wide and 9.1mm thick. 10.35g. It has a dark brown patina. Compare NMS-821725 which cites Ward-Perkins (1940) Type B4, and SWYOR-A43428, classified as Ward-Perkins Type B5.

A copper alloy Medieval object, possibly a book fitting dating from AD 1200 - 1500. The object is a rectangular plate, almost square, which has a large and worn loop, in the same plane as the plate, projecting from one end. At the other end, two lugs project, one at each side, perforated to support an axis bar which is now missing. This bar could have been half of a hinged fitting, or could have been for suspension, as in a chatelaine. The metal is dark green and there are possible traces of a surface coating such as gilding on both faces. It is 28mm long, 15.1mm wide and 4.5mm thick.…

A complete Medieval silver coin, a groat of Edward IV first reign (AD 1461 - AD 1470), Light Coinage, Type VIII, dating from AD 1464 - AD 1470. Obverse Initial Mark: Crown, with quatrefoils by neck and on breast. Reverse Initial Mark: Sun. Mint: London (Tower). See North Vol II, p87, No 1571. The coin is 25.1mm diameter, 0.9mm thick and 2.85g.

A medieval copper-alloy English jetton, probably an unofficial issue. King's sterling bust type, with a crowned forward facing bust (crudely depicted) on he obverse, with a border of val pellets, and a long cross pattee with three pellets in each angle on the reverse, again, a border of oval pellets. The jetton is 19.4mm diameter, 0.9mm thick and 1.19g. Compare BUC-B3689E which cites Mernick reference 6a.17.14, dating from about AD 1280-1340, and Mitchiner (1988, 106) no. 165.
