A very worn copper-alloy post medieval farthing (Type 2) of Charles I (1625-49). Dating to the period 1636-44. The coin when looking at the obverse has a fracture at 12 o'clock and at 4 o'clock. The coin is very worn and no inscription or mintmark is legible. The coin is 12.44mm in diameter and weighs 0.4g.

A heavily corroded copper-alloy probable Roman coin of uncertain 1st to 3rd century AD type. The coin has extensive post-depositional damage and corrosion resulting in large portions of the flan missing and both faces being illegible. The coin has maximum surviving dimensions of 21.2 by 24.9mm, is 3.7mm thick, and weighs 7.8g.

A fragment of a bent Bronze Age cast copper-alloy decorated socketed spearhead. The fragment broadly triangular in plan and lozengeiform in cross section. The spear fragment tapers towards the point which has been bent, the tip of the spear curves towards the fragment. At the break the socket is visible. The sides are decorated with vertical grooves. The spear is 36.1mm in length, 10.65mm wide, 7.1mm thick and weighs 6.26 grams.

An incomplete Early Medieval copper alloy hair or dress pin dating to the period circa AD 700-900. The pin has a moulded globular head with flattened top set above a simple line for a collar. The globular head is characterised by a pattern of slanted grooved lines. Beneath the collar, the shaft tapers gently but has broken before reaching its point. It has bent slightly just above the break. The pin is similar in style to Bailey 1997 pg 33, no 20, where it is described as a Saxon pin. A decorated lead spindle whorl, probably of Medieval to Post Medieval date, about AD 1100 - 1600. It is damaged and distorted. It is flattened bi-conical in form, with a wide median band (Walton Rogers Form C). Both faces have traces of decoration in the form of raised pellets. The central aperture is sub-circular and has a diameter of 8mm. Walton Rogers (in the Flixborough volume and York Fasicules) suggests that biconical whorls date from AD 1100 onwards and cites Ivens et al (1995) that those with dots are Post Medieval. A copper alloy aglet or lace tag of post-Medieval date, about AD 1600 - 1800. The ferrule is cylindrical in plan tapering to a turned knop at the base. The upper part is formed from sheet metal and is hollow, the lower knop is cast solid. Through the outer edge is a circular hole, presumably to take a fixing (now not present). The other side of the tube is broken. The ferrule has a mid-green coloured patina. It is 17.3mm long and 5.8mm in diameter. It weighs 1.28gm. Compare WAW-2EFE06 which cites HESH-51C621.
