A lead alloy possible spindle whorl of unknown date, Late Iron Age to Post Medieval, about 100 BC - AD 1600 . It is of Walton Rogers form B2 with two flat faces and curved sides. The central aperture is only 3mm diameter, casting some doubt on this object's function as a spindle whorl. It may be another form of perforated weight. The whorl has a light grey patina. It is 21mm in diameter and 5.5mm thick. it weighs 15.18gm.
