Treasure reference 2018 T258: a Middle Saxon silver gilt pin. The head is globular, solid, and decorated with four deep channels radiating from the apex, dividing the head into four convex pointed oval panels. Each channel is flanked by a much narrower channel. An integral shank of circular section extends from the base. The shank is broken shortly after it leaves the base. The break is patinated and worn, suggesting the break occured in antiquity.

A copper alloy ingot of probable Early Medieval date. The ingot is formed of a rod of copper alloy 109mm in length. The ingot is roughly hexagonal in section. All sides of the ingot display fine hammer marks. One end is worn, smooth, and rounded. The other end has a step-fracture or cut.

Description
Treasure reference 2018 T255: a complete post medieval silver-gilt eye piece from a hook and eye fastener. The body is in the form of a flowerhead or plume with an ornate scroll-shaped leaf curling upwards to either side. The ornate frame is openwork, having four circular holes around the perimeter. The space to either side of the flower is recessed but not openwork. An integral oval loop is formed at the top.

Treasure reference 2018 T256: a silver gilt hat hook. The object has a front panel in the form of an eagle standing with wings spread to either side. The head of the eagle is turned to the left, as are the claws. The breast of the eagle is formed by a series of convex ovals, while the feathers in the wings are shown by lines. The tail is also decorated with lines, and extends to the right of the bird below the right wing. An S-shaped silver hook has been soldered onto the reverse. The hook is set at 90 degrees to the eagle. The eagle has been gilded, but not the hook.
