An incomplete copper-alloy possibly Roman hair pin, dating to AD 43-410. The shaft surviving has an oval cross-section with a swollen central part , which tapers towards both ends. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman equal-armed balance, dating to AD 43-410. The central body of the balance has a flattened oval cross-section tapering towards both ends. On the upperside of the central body there is part of the lug which originally had a hole for suspension; the lug has been riveted through the body of the balance. The surviving balance has one of the arm slightly bent upwards. The surface is abraded and pitted. Length: 66.30 mm Width: 4.92 mm Thickness: 4.25 mm Weight: 4.32 g

An incomplete cast copper-alloy harness pendant dating to the Medieval period, c. 1200-1400. It demonstrates a heavily dished circular body, with an elongated stem and suspension loop (now broken) projecting from its apex. The outer face of the pendant demonstrates the remains of gilding, though is otherwise undecorated. Preserved in good condition with an uneven brownish patina, it survives to a length of 41.47mm, the body 23.78mm in diameter at its widest point, and the suspension loop 3.16mm thick at its midpoint. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman finger ring. Only the bezel and fragments of the shoulders survive. The bezel has an oval recessed setting for a missing bead or stone. The shoulders taper towards the breaks. It is very worn and damaged. It is assigned to Henig's type II (1974, p. 55, fig. 1), which dates to the 1st-3rd century. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Langton Down (Mackreth C1) bow brooch of Late Iron Age or early Roman date, c. 25-60 AD. It is missing its foot, catchplate, spring and pin, though otherwise it survives intact. It demonstrates a broken tubular head with a raised moulding dividing it from the 'D' sectioned plain bow, which extends and tapers along its length before truncating in an irregular old break. Preserved in rather poor condition with an uneven greenish brown patina, it survives to a length of 35.19mm, 25.30mm wide at the head, and 3.39mm thick at the midpoint of the bow. …

An incomplete cast copper-alloy brooch of Colchester Derivative rearhook type dating to the Roman period, c. 43-100 AD.
