Three complete pieces of debitage or waste material, produced during the knapping process of probable Mesolithic date, circa 9,000 - 4,000 BC. All three pieces are tertiary flakes displaying conchoidal fractures. No other signs of working are evident. Debitage 1: Dark grey. Dimensions: 27.5mm x 24.4mm x 6.3mm. Weight: 3.8g. Debitage 2: Dark orange. Dimensions: 23.4mm x 24.8mm x 5.6mm. Weight: 3.1g. Debitage 3: Light grey. Dimensions: 17.4mm x 20.9mm x 3.8mm. Weight: 1.9g.

A complete flint core of late Mesolithic date, c.7000 - 4000 BC. The core is conical with a tapering sub-ovate section. The core displays two negative scars from blade removal. The flint is a light grey colour with a large area of remaining cortex. The implement is 26.7mm long, 23.1mm wide, 18.3mm thick and weighs 11.5g. This is a relatively small core, suggesting it could have been carried around and maintained for continued use to produce small blades as required over time.
