A possibly complete lead-alloy weight or gaming piece of possible Early-Medieval date, c.AD 850 - 1050. The object is plano-convex with a large central depression in the flat face. The upper domed surface displays a shiny grey patina while the sides and base are a light creamy brown colour. The object is 23.6mm in diameter, 14.8mm tall, the depression is 8.1mm in diameter and 6.1mm deep. It weighs 41.9g. Similar objects have been recorded on the PAS database. A much abraded cast copper alloy zoomorphic terminalled strap end of later early medieval (later Anglo-Saxon) date, 800 - 1000 AD. The strap-end is broadly sub-rectangular in plan with two parallel sides. Those sides taper slightly along their length and terminate in a blunted point. An incomplete cast copper-alloy strap end of Thomas' class E, dating c. 900-1100. Originally the strap end would have been tongue shaped in plan, though now the terminal end is missing in old damage and it subsequently is rectangular in form. Copper alloy stirrup terminal. A cast concavo-convex object, approaching conical form, of which the hollow side is thought to engage with a stirrup. On one side, the object bears a moulded chevron oriented towards a horizontal rib with two low rounded horns projecting from its ends, the overall effect being vaguely anthropomorphic. It has a central hole, 9mm in diameter and one one face has a slight linear indentation to one side (right image as shown), suggesting a cross bar to hold a shaft in place. This would confirm its use as a spindle whorl. It has no decoration and it fits Walton Rogers form B.

It demonstrates a sub-circular body that tapers at its back edge to form a thinned hook, the lower portion of which is missing in old damage. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) box catch, dating to AD 600-700. It has a flat lozenge shaped plate with triangular keel on the front face set at an angle of 90 degrees to the plane of the plate. At one end of the plate is a circular terminal with central rivet hole, in which still rest the copper-alloy rivet; on the back face some iron corrosion around the rivet suggests that the support the catch was attached to might have been iron made.
