Post Medieval copper alloy mount or stud with a flat top and single integral rivet on the back. The top is cast with a raised design on the front and slight concavities behind the design on the back. The design is of a central flower with four fluer de lis projecting out from it at right angles creating a cross shape. The fluer de lis have pellets below the curves of the outer pellets and possibly there are ones in each quatrer between the fluer de lis. The uoter edge is shaped to the petals of the fluer de lis. An uncertain tear-drop shaped lead-alloy object likely post medieval c. AD 1500-1800 palm guard. Description: The object is tear drop shape in plan, both faces are flat, the sides slant by approx. 10mm from face to face. The object has some minor damage with a nick in one edge a third of the way up. On the narrower face there are the remnants two circular posts, of unknown purpose. The broader face has some slight indentations on the wider part. Measurements: length: 60.96mm, width: 35.96mm, thickness: 12.23mm, weight: 147.58g.

A complete copper alloy Crotal bell dating to the period AD1650-1850. The bell is spherical with a sub rectangular suspension loop at its top. In the top half of the bell, there are two sound holes, 7.3mm in diameter, on opposite sides. Around the bell's circumference, is a raised rib. The lower half has a long slit with a circular sound hole of 6.5mm diameter at each end. Its surface is worn and undecorated. An iron clapper is inside and the bell still rings. It measures 40.1mm in length, has a diameter of 30.1mm, and weighs 38.4g.

An incomplete copper alloy pipe tamper of Post-Medieval date. The tamper is in the form of a claw hammer but is missing half of the claw, the hammerhead, part of the shaft and the tamper itself due to old breaks. The block at the top of the shaft is rectangular in shape and measures 12.9 mm in length and 8.4 mm in width. At one end there is a small circular projection from which the now missing hammerhead would have extended. A copper alloy possible Post Medieval dress fastener, part of a composite wire hook and eye dating from about AD 1500 - 1700. It is a circular disc of copper alloy with no visible decoration surviving. On the reverse is attached a short length of copper alloy wire, laying along one edge of the disc. This probably once extended into a sideways projecting hook or loop for attachment. The object is 13.9mm diameter, 2.5mm thick and 1.37g. Possibly Read (2008) Class B, type 2, similar to number 598 on page 159.

An incomplete Post Medieval copper alloy book clasp dating to the period c. AD 1500 - 1700. The fitting is rectangular in shape with one wider flaring end. The opposite end of the plate is straight and from the centre projects a broken hook which curves backwards. The tip of the hook is missing to an old break. Post medieval lead alloy cloth seal, dating to 1600-1750. Thickness: 2 mm, diameter: 16 mm, weight: 1.62 g The object is circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It is a two part cloth seal, formed of two circles of lead pressed together. It is probably Dutch and from Leiden. It features a crown above a shield bearing a lion rampant facing left. There is a possible L to left (for Leiden?) and 1/2 to right, all sitting within beaded border. The reverse is plain.

A collection of 657 probable round shot all found in the same hole. The balls are of two main sizes, the larger making up the majority of the group. The smaller balls are possibly for a pistol. One ball more closely resembles a shot plug. The rough diameter for the larger balls is approximately 17mm, and many have mould lines. There is a variation across the group in the level of oxidation on the surface of the balls, but this may be due to varying soil conditions throughout the hole. The identification is prompted by moulded detail at the complete end, which appears as three or four parallel claws at the slightly expanded end of a grooved arm, the texture presumed to represent a rough pelt.
