A plated Medieval French coin of Charles VII, dating to AD 1422-1461. The obverse has the French shield with the three fleur-de-lis, inscribed in a three lobed double tressures; a crown on top of the shield; the legend reads [KAROLVS FR]ANC[ORVM: REX]. Reverse depicting a cross pattee inscribed in a four lobed double tressures; two fleures-de-lis on two angles, a possible crown visible on on of the other two; the legend reads [...]BENE[...].
