An incomplete copper alloy Roman trumpet headed brooch, dating to the period c.AD 75-175. The brooch comprises an expanded trumpet head, the bow and most of the catchplate. The remains of the casing for the axis bar of the pin are present on the reverse of the head. At the front, the trumpet head narrows and curves to the bow, which is a pointed ovate in cross section. Roman (AD c. 69-96) Initial T-shaped brooch (Mackreth 2011, Part 3, The Hinged Pin Plate 64); The copper-alloy brooch has a cylindrical crossbar which has a central slot on the reverse to allow the pin to be hinged. A virtually complete cast copper-alloy strap end dating to the late Early Medieval period, c. 950-1100. It corresponds to Thomas' type E1ai, 'Winchester style tongue-shaped strap-ends with an average ratio of width to length of 1:2, depicting inhabited foliate designs'. An incomplete copper-alloy Iron Age to Roman cosmetic mortar, dating to 100 BC - AD 200. It is a centre-looped mortar with a crescent bow and slightly convex walls; it has a U-shape sectioned groove and the two incomplete terminals might have been simply plain knobs. Above the broken loop there is a sub-rectangular element flanked on the short sides by two knops. The surface is very abraded and pitted.

Roman brooch (c. 69-200); Colchester derivative Polden Hill Type 5.b4 of Western Group. The wings are semi-cylindrical, which terminate with perforated wing caps. The wings are decorated with two fine double-stranded vertical ridges. The copper ally axis bar has a spring coiled around it 15 times. The pin is missing. The bowhead is hump-like in profile and has a perforated lug at the apex to hold the chord. Either side of the head there is a moulded platform. The bow tapers to a blunt point which is broken below the wings. The bow is undecorated.

A copper-alloy Medieval annular brooch, dating to AD 1300-1400. The frame has a slightly trapezoidal cross-section with a recess for the pin. The pin is a D-shaped sectioned thin sheet of metal, which is wrapped around the recessed bar and tapers towards a pointed tip; on the front face, where the pin joins the loop, there are two transverse ridges. The front face of the frame bears an inscription which reads [...]starFEIT[...]MI(RICI)OL[...]. The inscription is in very bad condition and the frame itself has humps and bents.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman plate brooch, dating to the period c.AD 100-300. The brooch is oval in plan, with a raised oval rim at its centre, which is filled with a brown paste. Decoration in the form of a waved or scalloped line is present around the central oval bezel, although this is now worn and not easily discernable. The reverse exhibits the remains of the attachment for the pin, situated at the apex, and the remains of the catchplate are present at the lower curve. The reverse is undecorated. A green patina is on the surface.
