A Post-Medieval copper alloy finger ring, probably dating to c. AD 1700-1800. A 'peasant ring', the hoop has a shallow D-shaped cross section and is decorated in low relief with a motif depicting a bud and trumpet shaped flower within a panel, repeating 6 times around the circumference. There is a soldered join at one point on the loop, with a makers mark, probably reading DUNN roughly in line with this. The maker's mark is stamped in relief within a sub-rectangular field.
