A Copper alloy closed-mouthed bell of probable Post-Medieval date, probably dating to c. AD 1500-1700. The bell survives complete, retaining an iron pea in situ. The bell is sub-piriform in plan and lenticular in cross section, a sub-rectangular lug projects from the apex of the bell, with a rounded end and large sub-circular drilled aperture. A post-medieval copper alloy buckle frame of sub-oval/ sub-trapezoidal shape, with separate drilled iron spindle the the remains of a copper alloy chape. Whitehead dates similar examples (pp.98-9) to 1660-1720. The short outside edges are curved, being concave to the underside. A fragment of medieval gilded copper-alloy buckle consisting of the incomplete plate only, broken across a rivet hole 2.5mm in diameter. The plate has two rivet holes close to the opposite, crenellated, edge, which each measure 2.5mm in diameter. A zig-zag line flanks the edge. Where the gilding survives (in the grooves) it is thick.

An complete Medieval cast lead spindle whorl, c. AD 1100-1500. The spindle whorl is biconvexon one side and flaton the other. Both faces of the spindle whorl are undecorated.There is a central, circular hole of 8.00mm . The whorl is cream and the lead has oxidised to form a powdery surface.. Regarding the dating of spindle whorls, Helen Geake of the British Museum writes: "Dating of lead whorls is difficult.The drop spindle with which they were used continued in use until the end of the medieval period. Dimensions: Diameter - 31.0mm. Thickness - 5.5mm. Weight - 27.9g
