A silver voided short cross (AD1180-1247) Medieval penny of Henry III, AD1216-1272. Obverse shows a forward facing crowned bust with sceptre. Obverse legend reads hENRI[CVS]R/EX/. Reverse shows a voided short cross with quatrefoil per quarter. Reverse legend reads +LEDV[LF ON L]VND. Class 7b-7c, dating to AD1217/8 - c.1242. The Moneyer is Ledvlf working at the London mint.
Die axis is 1 o'clock. Weight is 1.40g, diameter is 18.3mm and thickness is 0.6mm.

Reverse description: Britannia seated, facing left, holding wreath in hand. Reverse inscription: BRITANN[IA], with date 1799 in exergue. Die axis is 6 o'clock.
