A copper alloy object, possibly a box clasp, dating from the post-Medieval period, AD1500-1800. The object is a rectangular plate with a complete flange projecting from one long edge and a broken flange on the opposite side. The complete flange is perforated with six small circular holes. The other long edge, broken for approximately one-third of its length, has a remnant of a catch plate. Roman copper alloy Colchester Derivative Harlow brooch with a small part of the spring and most of the pin missing. Mackreth 2011, CD Ha 2.a. The wings are undecorated. A median groove on the upper half of the D-sectioned bow is flanked by knurling, and there is a pin groove and a triangular aperture in the catchplate. On the lower edge of one wing there are two deep V-shaped filed notches which may have been produced to accommodate the pin and a spring coil. Wingspan 17.4mm. Length 42.4mm. c.43 - c.75 AD.

A flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating form the Middle Bronze Age (2150 - 1500 BC). Description: Similar to the Pick Rudge Farm type. The arrow is triangular in shape with two notches chiped into the base to seperate the barbs and tang. Both faces have been worked with covering, scaled and low-angle retouch. The arrowhead is a mottled dark to light grey in colour. Dimensions: Height 43.07mm, width 27.44mm, thickness 6.37mm and weight 5.93g.

An incomplete copper-alloy attachment lug from a chafing dish handle of medieval to Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1400 - 1600. The lug is C-shaped with a recessed collar to the upper edge and a flat rectangular terminal. A circular scar is present at the centre of the terminal. The metal has a delaminated brown-green patina. The object is 23.3mm long, 12.3mm wide, 7.4mm thick and weighs 9.4g. An incomplete copper-alloy button of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1600 - 1700. The button is discoidal with a flat section. The front surface is decorated with a cross formed of five ring and dot motifs with engrailed outer edges and a veined leaf in each quadrant. The remains of a separate iron shank can be seen at the centre of the reverse. The metal has a dark green patina and is in fair condition. A very worn copper-alloy Roman coin, possibly a radiate of uncertain late-3rd century AD ruler, dating to the period AD 260-296. The reverse type is uncertain due to the preservation of the coin. Uncertain mint. This is probably a radiate, the bust perhaps similar to those of Postumus, Victorinus, or even Carausius, however a later, 4th century AD, date range cannot be ruled out entirely given the preservation of the coin. Medieval copper alloy oval buckle frame with a pin on the offset, narrowed bar and an almost straight outside edge decorated on both faces with two obliquely set knops and four flanges, the inner pair grooved and flanking the pin notch. The pin is D-sectioned with a transverse rib near the loop. Very similar to NMS-1A1D64. Length 18mm. Width 18.6mm. Second half 14th century.

A worn, cast, copper alloy, late Medieval or early Post-Medieval signet ring, c.1400 - 1600 AD. Description: The face of the bezel is an elongated sub-oval with a simple raised line border. The merchant's mark is formed from the black letter initial, 'I'. The ring is unusually thin, compared to other seal rings of this period. The ring is a dark brown/black colour with some patches of orange visible. Dimensions: Diameter 28.20mm, width 10.21mm (of face), thickness (of band) 3.13mm and weight 7.05g.
