An incomplete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy polyhedral multi-faceted pin (c. 700-c. 850).
The lower part of the shaft is missing.
The undecorated head of the pin is cuboid in form and the corners have been truncated. The four larger facets are lozenge-shaped and the eight smaller ones are sub-triangular. There is a collar beneath the head. The shaft is circular in cross-section.
This pin is pitted and has a green patina. The break is old.
