Incomplete rectangular buckle frame made from cut and folded thick sheet, with a (missing) separate central bar. The outside edge and most of both sides are extant. The inside edge would have been an iron spindle within a sheet roller, set into holes through the two sides. The bar, also of iron, would have been set in the two similar extant holes in the notched and expanded sides, and held a pin and sheet plate.
