An incomplete cast and wrought lead alloy badge of uncertain - most probably post medieval (1600-1800) date. The badge is irregular in form (being created from two square shapes aligned at 45 degree to form a star) and rectangular in cross section. The front face has eight evenly but irregularly spaced triangular points extending from a low central circular boss. The overall form is similar to that of a multi-petalled flower with each triangle being divided in half by an interlaced arc. The reverse face is uneven, two small circular scars are present - presumably these are the r…

An incomplete cast copper alloy hinged and inscribed plate / strap fitting of probable later medieval or post medieval date (1550-1700). The artefact most probably comes from a hinged dog collar. Lead possible ingot fragment. A fragment, about one quarter, of a discoid ingot cast in a shallow hollow. The upper surface is marked by the cooling of the metal, while the underside may bear the impression of a fine sand bed, which is indicative of leadworking carried on in a professional manner.
