An unglazed, possibly medieval body sherd, with possibily part of the base extant. Fabric dark red on the exterior and a dark grey on the interior. Fabric hard with a few small inclusion in its makeup. Evidence of organic materials on the interior. Length 47.7 mm, width 41.2 mm, thickness 10.4 mm. Weight 21.97 g.

A fragment of post-medieval, flat rim from a large wide, open dish. Partially covered in a thick, dark purple glaze on both surfaces, over in part a reddish slip. An incomplete post-Medieval to Modern hollow ceramic object in the form of a stylised bird, possibly an owl (c. 1500-c. 1950). The head is sub-spherical in form and narrows to the neck. Below the neck it expands in width to form the body and then tapers inwards towards a break. The nose is pointed and the eyes as well as the wings are defined by incised grooves. At the side of the head, just behind each eye, there is an incomplete protrusion. At the apex of the head a small circular hole has a diameter of c. 2.0mm.
