A complete flint Microlith of Mesolithic date (9,000-3,450 BC). The object is sub-ovate in plan and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface contains two predominant negative scars. The proximal end has been blunted. The distal end tapers to a point. The proximal, left and right hand edges have fine semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface is flat.
The flint is cream in colour. There is no retained cortex and the flake is therefore a tertiary flake.
Length: 18.78mm, Width: 11.65mm, Thickness: 3.10mm, Weight: 0.7g.

The proximal and distal ends have been blunted. The distal end has a pointed spur on the right hand distal edge. The left and right hand edges have fine semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface is flat with ripples of percussion emanating from the proximal end.
