An incomplete and slightly worn cast copper-alloy socketed axehead of Late Bronze Age date (c. 1000 - c.800 BC).
Description: The object has a narrow sub-rectangular body, slightly narrower in the middle flaring towards the blade end and slightly towards the haft end. In plan the blade is wide and flaring creating a crescentric cutting edge. What is left of the socket is socket is sub-rectangular in cross section.
