A Medieval to Post Medieval cast copper-alloy incomplete pot leg foot, probably dating from c. 13th-mid-17th century AD. The foot is D-shaped with with worn 'toes' on the front, it widens and projects slightly forward from the collar to the base. There is a raised transverse collar separating the leg. The top of the leg is broken above the collar. The underside of the foot is flat. It measures 32.2mm tall, 22.5mm wide and 16.2mm thick; it weighs 50.02 grams. An complete copper alloy nail of Medieval to post-Medieval date, AD 1500-1850. The nail is square in cross-section slightly tapering to a squared end. The head measures 15.02mm square and has a slightly flattened dome on its upper surface with one side either miscast or showing strike damage. The other end of the nail is flat, suggesting an old break.The nail itself measures 10.87mm square and is 58.15mm in length; it weighs 40.2g. It has a creamish patina throughout. Late medieval - post medieval copper alloy button dating to the period c. AD 1450 - 1600. The head has a solid, convex front and flat back. The front exhibits a moulded relief design consisting of a clockwise eight-bladed impeller within a beaded border. The integrally cast shank is slightly waisted behind the head and expands into a pierced oval loop. See: Read, B, 2005, p. 33, no. 122.

An early post medieval copper alloy dress hook. AD c.1500-1650. Read's Class E Type 3. The object is sub circular, with moulded relief and openwork, with a rectangular loop attachment at the top of the plate. The central part of the plate is lozenge shaped, and seems to have a pinecone or pineapple motif in the centre. An incomplete copper alloy Buckle of Post-Medieval dare (AD 1620-1680). The object is one half of a double loop trapezoidal buckle with an openwork frame. The object has openwork rounded ends with a scalloped outer edge and ovate knops on the angles of the frame and ends of the strap bar. The object is missing the frame past the strap bar and the recurved wire pin. The metal is dark green in colour with a pitted patina. Length: 30.44mm, Width: 30.77mm, Thickness: 2.80mm, Weight: 5.1g. A cast, copper alloy nail, probably of later post - Medieval date AD 1500 - 1850. The nail is rectangular in plan, tapering to a blunt, chisel point. The head has been broken off in an old break. It measures 56.24mm in length, is 8.13mm thick and weighs 23.9g. This type of nail is described elsewhere on the database as a "boat nail or spike for wedging into wooden planks to hold the hull of the boat together". Copper alloy and iron brooch. Cast hinged Colchester derivative brooch, Mackreth 2011, type CD H5.a. Plain tubular wings clenched behind retain an iron axis bar for a hinged pin [lost]. The wings are clasped by a thin bow with a central longitudinal ridge flanked by flat areas, all tapering towards a plain pointed foot retaining the worn remnant of a catch plate behind it. Cast heel from a rowel spur, comprising lentoid section sides or arms, facetted in three planes on the display face, and the tapered base of a rowel box with eight longitudinal facets. One of these, the largest flat facet and presumably the uppermost, bears finely incised vegetal ornament resembling a lis with supplementary petals. An incomplete Post Medieval cast copper alloy double-looped buckle (AD c.1550-1650). The frame is bevelled on the front and flat at the rear. It has two oval loops which possibly has moulded rosette decoration on the outer edge of each loop. The strap bar is narrowed with a lobed knop at either end. The pin is missing. The frame is a greenish grey and has traces of a black lacquer. The frame measures 48.1mm long, 28.5mm wide, 2.2mm thick and weighs 7.2 grams. Similar type buckles can be seen in Whitehead (1996) p.66.
