Incomplete horse harness suspension-mount, comprising a rectangular sheet with a slotted projection from the base, folded onto reverse to form loops for the suspension of a pendant, and secured by a copper alloy rivet (length 5mm). Traces of at least three engraved vertical lines above the central slot, now upstanding from the decayed surface. Width 22mm. Height/length 16.5mm. 12th-13th century.
