An almost complete but broken Roman nail cleaner with a swollen blade (Group) dating from the late 1st to 4th century AD. The cleaner is a flat sheet. There is a large circular suspension loop which now has a worn break at the top of the loop, and is distorted. This then narrows into the neck of the cleaner, before widening out into the rounded body. This then narrows again into the shaft of the cleaner, before widening into the two pronged terminal. Copper alloy and iron brooch. Cast hinged Colchester derivative brooch, Mackreth 2011, Chapter 3, Part 4, type H 4.a., plain tubular wings with a single sunken moulding at either end retain an iron axis bar and the stub of a hinged pin. They are clasped by a bow of sub-rectangular section with a plain longitudinal central ridge flanked by gutters running from crest to [probably] its plain foot. There is no trace of catch plate on what remains of the lower bow. Suggested date: Early Roman, 50-125. Length: 32.0mm, Width: 26.2mm, Thickness (crest of bow): 6.5mm, Weight: 10.76gms

A copper alloy toggle dating to the late Iron Age to Roman period (100 BC - AD 100). The toggle is dumbell shaped, comprising of two globular hemispherical terminals joined by a circular shaft. There are two, worn collars at each junction between the shaft and terminal. The metal is worn and mid green in the colour. The toggle is 24.1 mm long, 10.5 mm wide, and 9.8 mm thick. It weighs 10.4 g. Numerous examples have been recorded on the PAS database, such as YORYM-2DC666 and YORYM-BB9C93.

Description: Incomplete medieval silver devotional pendant in the form of a crucifix with a figure to either side. The reverse is flat. The obverse has moulded detail, now heavily worn. The top of the pendant is missing; there is a transverse break just above the head of Christ. Each of the horizontal arms of the cross terminates in a trefoil.
