Two post-medieval copper alloy harness mounts, both almost flat, 17th century: - asymmetrical with the stumps of two integral round-sectioned attachment spikes on the reverse. One terminal is a fleur-de-lis, the other a small lobe. Counter-relief decoration on the gilt front comprises details of the fleur, scrolls and pellets. The form is broadly comparable with that of NMS-F2396F. Length and width 31.3 and 13.2mm. - in the form of an acorn, rather abraded, with two integral round sectionedattachment spikes on the reverse, one a stump only. Length 20.5mm. Width 9mm.

Copper alloy book clasp of Howsam type A.9.2. Cast hollow sub-rectangular box-type plate, with a solid pointed rhomboid terminal with a more regular rhomboid panel on its upper surface. Part of the plate is lost, and the terminal at the closed end is missing. Gilding traces are retained in angles and on the sides of the terminal. A peg hole of diameter 3mm appears centrally on the back of the terminal. Length: 48.2mm, Width: 23.5mm,Thickness (at terminal): 7.7mm, Weight: 11.56g. These are dated broadly to the 15th century.

Cast narrow zoomorphic strap end with a split end with paired stitching holes of diameter 1.7mm, a central bordered panel of angular interlace ornament and a beast head terminal, Thomas Class A Type 2. Cast tongue-shaped strap end with a central longitudinal rib on its display face and a pair of stitching holes of diameter 2mm at its indented inner end, each hole with a slightly raised border; Thomas Class E Type 3. The inner end was split, though now missing its inner leaf. The outer end is lost. This type of strap ends are especially common in the eastern Danelaw and the Irish Sea region. An almost complete but broken Roman nail cleaner with a swollen blade (Group) dating from the late 1st to 4th century AD. The cleaner is a flat sheet. There is a large circular suspension loop which now has a worn break at the top of the loop, and is distorted. This then narrows into the neck of the cleaner, before widening out into the rounded body. This then narrows again into the shaft of the cleaner, before widening into the two pronged terminal. Fragment of the front part of a medieval gilt copper alloy rectangular buckle plate, broken at both ends. The face is decorated with a lion passant in relief surrounded by fine punched impressions and a broad undecorated border. Related to a common type, e.g. Egan and Pritchard 1991, 111-2, fig. 72 no. 500. Many similar similar plates, showing a lion passant, either guardant or reguardant, are known, e.g. from Lakenheath, Suffolk (SF-2EBEB3) and Stapleton, North Yorks (SWYOR-524CC3, with references to others by the PAS). Extant length 15.5mm. Width 16mm. 13th century.

Copper alloy and iron brooch. Cast hinged Colchester derivative brooch, Mackreth 2011, Chapter 3, Part 4, type H 4.a., plain tubular wings with a single sunken moulding at either end retain an iron axis bar and the stub of a hinged pin. They are clasped by a bow of sub-rectangular section with a plain longitudinal central ridge flanked by gutters running from crest to [probably] its plain foot. There is no trace of catch plate on what remains of the lower bow. Suggested date: Early Roman, 50-125. Length: 32.0mm, Width: 26.2mm, Thickness (crest of bow): 6.5mm, Weight: 10.76gms
