Pipeclay tobacco pipe fragment. A broad moulded pipe bowl with a prominent basal spur and a narrow [c.2mm] wire drawn bore. Moulded decoration comprises crossing narrow bars with other, more fragmentary, curvilinear features. The object is water-rolled, with the loss of some surface detail. The ample bowl, moulded decoration and narrow bore together suggest a relatively recent date. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1840-1860. Height (at bowl): 38mm, Length (along stem): 49.7mm, Weight: 7.87g.

A fragment of ceramic vessel of Post-Medieval to modern date, c.AD 1750 - 1950. The fragment a red earthen ware, sub-rectangular in plan with worn corners and edges. It has a slight curve to the profile. The upper surface is decorated with a leaf design flanked by two indistinct decorative features. Given the design and fabric it is possible this is a fragment of a decorative plant pot. The object is 50.9mm long, 31.9mm wide, 7.8mm thick and weighs 13.7g.
