A complete copper-alloy stacking trade weight of post-medieval date, c.AD 1500 - 1800. The weight is unifaced and circular in plan with slightly raised sides and incised lathe turned lines on the interior surface. The upper surface is usually stamped but these however are not prvisible on the current example. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The diameter is 18mm and the weight 5.82g. A copper alloy strap fitting, probably a belt mount, dating to the 17C. The mount consists of a sub-rectangular plate with curved edges. From the reverse project a pair of integral rectangular-sectioned prongs for attachment which would have formed a sub-rectangular loop.. The length is 27mm, the width is 18mm and the weight 3.86g. Such mounts with integral prongs may have been from harness straps. Post medieval copper alloy belt mount, 1500-1700. A copper alloy belt or strap mount of post-medieval date. The mount appears to be broadly phallic in shape. One end is bilobate with a waisted middle and flaring triangular terminal at the other. The reverse holds two prongs, one near each short end. For similar examples see: SF-3BF4A6 LVPL-6B1DE8 HESH-796A17. The length is 22mm, the width is 15mm and the weight 2.54g.

Copper alloy crotal bell dating to the Post-medieval period 1500 to 1700AD. The bell is spherical in form with a circumferential rib, now very worn. The upper hemisphere has a square attachment loop projecting upwards, oval in section, with a circular sound hole to the front and back of the loop. There is a green patina on the surface. The diameter is 32mm. The length is 40mm, the width is 32mm and the weight 28.57g.

Lead alloy weight probably a damaged spindle whorl Medieval dating 1100 - 1500AD. lead alloy spindle whorl of medieval to post medieval date. The object is damaged and roughly triangular but would have been originally circular in plan and slightly conical. In the centre of the object the perforation has an internal diameter of 9mm. Each face appears to have been decorated with vertical and horizontal, cross-hatching lines, although the decoration is damaged, faded and unclear. The object has a light grey patina. The diameter is 30mm and the weight 50.17g.

An incomplete Medieval - Post Medieval cast copper-alloy Cauldron leg fragment, circa 1400 AD - 1800 AD. The leg has an old break, and is D shaped in cross-section. The reverse side is flat and plain. The surface is worn and abraded, of a reddish-brown colour with areas of green patina. A similar item is published by Brian Read, History Beneath Our Feet (1995), page 95, No. 591.The length is 35mm, the width is 17mm and the weight 27.93g.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy post-medieval shoe buckle, dating to the period AD c.1720-c.1800, missing its pin and strap bar. The buckle is rectangular in plan and designed in the Artois style, with sub-rectangular openwork slots. The buckle has an openwork style, with two rectangular frames connected by small bars. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c. AD 1500 - 1650. The buckle is a double-looped, D-shaped oval with a square sectioned strap bar. The pin no longer remains although there is evidence of an iron pin in the form of a patch of corrosion at one end of the strap bar. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal has a dark brown/green patina and is worn. The length is 20mm, the width is 19mm and the weight 1.47g.

A corroded wrought iron tool, perhaps a pickaxe of probably Medieval to Post-medieval date 1200 to 1800AD. The object is rectangular in section and is a curved tapering spike. It could be a broken axe head. The butt-end of the tool-head has an irregular circular socket. Iron decay in the form of rust is present over all surfaces of this artefact. The profile of this artefact, in the current condition, is sub-rectangular and suggests a slightly downward curved hook, away from the socket, towards the end of the blade.The length is 110mm, the width is 27mm thickness 33mm and the weight 65.64g.
