An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy closed thimble (1730-1800). Part of the rim is missing due to breaks. This misshapen thimble is domed at the apex and has a plain undecorated rim. The walls have ten horizontal circumferential lines of circular indentations or pits. The crown has square indentations that form a waffle or grid pattern. There are no manufacturing marks. A corroded post-Medieval copper-alloy ?double-looped buckle (c. 1550-c. 1650). The frame was possibly formed of two conjoined oval frames. However, it could be a single-loop frame. The narrowed pin bar is circular in cross-section and protrudes beyond the frame at both ends to form pointed knops. The upper face of the outer edge of the frame has transverse grooves forming foliate decoration. The copper-alloy tapering pin is rectangular in cross-section. Mesolithic axe or adze, flaked from a large thermal (frost) fracture, now patinated mottled brown and black with white inclusions within the flint. Semi-bifacially flaked with hard hammer percussion, with areas of the the original blank remaining unworked on both faces. The butt is broken transversely in antiquity, possibly from end shock during use. The cutting edge is flaked centrepetally, unusually without a tranchet blow.

A copper-alloy tear-drop shaped dagger hilt of uncertain early-medieval to post-medieval date (AD 400-1700). It is 3.8mm thick with a pair of decorative grooves around its perimeter. The convex upper surface is decorated with twelve punched rings. At the centre is a rectangular slot with the remains of a nail at the centre, possibly iron but not corroded. If copper alloy, it is a different copper alloy to the hilt.

Broadly Mesolithic axe, or adze, hard hammer struck biface, of slight asymmetrical plan form, with one lateral platform edge at a approx. 60 degrees, the other edge is rather more obtuse with a build-up of hinged attempts at flake removals along one face, from the cutting edge to beyond the mid-point. A complete but worn cast copper-alloy post-medieval strap fitting (belt mount) dating from c. AD 1500-1700. The copper alloy strap fitting is a simplistic acorn design. It is sub-oval in plan with one terminal having an integral knop. Bisecting the two halves is a linear groove. The reverse has two circular sectioned integral studs, both of which are incomplete. These studs would pass through the strap leather and hold the fitting in place.

A complete but worn cast copper-alloy dress fitting / hooked tag dating to the post-Medieval, c.16th century AD. The tag is formed from longitudinal rectangular panel, with engrailed side edges. At the juncture of the integrally cast hook and the main plate is a ribbed collar while at the opposite end is a horizontal bar attachment loop. The hook is complete and curved back on itself. The front of the fitting has decoration but it is too worn to discern. Read (2008) Class E Type 1.
